Real Tastemakers Have Tribes

One of the largest takeaways from the Revolt TV: Watch, Engage, Invent Social Media Week discussion was the idea that brands like Revolt consider true influencers to have a tribe.So many brands are now looking through the noise to find tastemakers to promote their products or services but these influencers need more than a thousands plus followers on twitter they need to develop a community. To consider your audience a tribe it must have two key traits: individuals who are passionate about your content or work, and are willing to engage not only online but in person as well. If you can grow this organically you may be on your way to being a chief.
